I saw this doctor last year for a hearing test for problems with my ears. This man was uptight rude and snotty. He basically said "There is nothing I can do except put tubes in, here is my card." Didn't discuss the condition thoroughly or even give any solutions or options. He just wanted me in and out like I was a bug pestering him. A good recommendation would be to see Dr. Dennis Feider. Very nice, patient doctor with many years of experience!
I went to try and find out why my ears were crackling all the time (had already been to my regular doctor and allergist). I had a hearing test done and passed. Then when Dr. Allison came into the room, he took one look in each ear and said there isn't anything wrong. All he could offer me was that some people are more sensitive to loud sounds than others. I asked him if there was anything I could do to make them better and he told me to wear ear plugs and avoid loud situations. I thought he was joking at first, but he was serious. He was also rude and not friendly. Do not recommend him at all!
Just had a recent visit, I wanted to find out why my ears are always plugged and sometimes hard to hear. I had a hearing test which was normal, which is good, however when Mr Allison came in to see me he looked in my ears and nose and said take Flonase for the next month if that doesn't work then you have to deal with the plugged ears. I am disappointed that I have to deal with it, but the most frustrating part is Mr Allison had no compassion and was just a unpleasant person (trying to be polite). I can't imagine how much my bill will be since he was in the room for literally 5 minutes.
A bit of a longer rating/review BUT I want to share my & my daughters experience thourougly so u know what he's done for us & our experiences, if you're lookin for a quick yes or no, ours is YES YES YES! Now to understand our experience & how he handled us, 1st my daughter (9yo) had to see him for issues w/her tonsils, he was thorough, paid a lot of attn to her needs, her health issues, & came to the conclusion she needed them out.. At the time she was sick for the 5th time in 7mos, he ran tests to weed out any possible other problems, he was very courteous! Made not just her, but me also, feel very comfy & secure about how things would work & assure us the aftercare would be priority! It worked out great & I was so happy w/him that I also went to see him for my needs.. Again he was very professional & courteous! Met my standards & mine are high, I also get afraid of any Drs w/my poor health, I was still goin thru breast cancer so I'm very weary about Drs! Since he was great w/my daughter I know he'd be great w/me! He met all my standards, again was very attentive to my problems, very thurough explaining everything to me, & how to fix my problems! I still have to see him again seeing my issues are complicated, but I have all my faith in him! Again like I said before, my standards are HIGH considering my health issues now, & he has met them all! At the end of the day this man (Dr) is great, I have a feeling those that've had bad experiences may not have asked questions during their visit, or somethin to those lines? My experiences, he's great! Both w/my daughter AND me! Not many Drs can (or will) take on such a challenging patient as me but he's awesome! I love him! I'll never see another ENT other than him! Thank you if you read this far! He's worth seeing, if you feel he's not being thorough or something, ask questions! He's glad to make u feel comfy! Love love love him!
