2 stars for poor effort. Not letting my girlfriend take her car to this shop ever again.
Did more than I expected at an extremely reasonable price.
I sent my GF there to get some work done on her car, (98 Camry) last year. I gave her a list, most of which got taken care of except 1 thing, TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) Mechanic told her to get her tires checked. I think he got confused with a TPMS, which weren't really mainstream until '12.
I go here to get my emissions test done every year. All of the guys that I've worked with there have been really nice and very helpful. The guy I worked with most recently was very, very helpful. I had just gotten a new catalytic converter put in and I drove it for about 70 miles after clearing the code. I thought it was enough, but it turns out it wasn't. He helped me get a temporary license plate and let me know that it is better to drive the car for a week or two after clearing a code. I would definitely recommend going here for anything just because the guys there are so great.
Best auto place in Racine. The people are very friendly and their work is above anyone else in Racine. T to get my tags for my car. Tool care of everything for me.
Monday I sent her to get her Emissions test, she went here. Mechanic said he couldn't connect to the ODB system, failed the car. Took it to a Valvoline shop, they had the same issue on the first attempt, watched the tech literally jiggle the plug, and connect to the ODB just fine, the plug wasn't seated properly.
good guys and not parts replacers like jc and goold. allow you to bring your own parts which is a big plus.
