I don't like having surprise charges especially when someone looks at me in the eye and agrees to that price. Also as I went to my car to check it out the gas door was opened and now it won't shut, The mechanic said it was like that when it got there.
Thanks for fixing my Muffler, but my perfectly working Oxygen sensor that is only barely one year old mysteriously quit working instantly after you worked on my pipes. Now you want another $185 to fix it. Yeah. I don’t think so. What are the odds of the O2sensor failing on the same day and hour of my service visit ?
I have always taken my car here for repairs. They've always been professional in explaining their diagnosis and what needs immediate attention and what can wait. Their prices are quite fair. These guys have always given me great service at lower than the national franchise prices. They do far more than just mufflers, they've done great suspension and brake work as well.
I then asked if I could just bring in my own gas tank and they agreed, as long as they charged me for 2 hours instead of 1hour like the mechanic previously told me he could do.
"A big lie because I took pictures of the car when I dropped it off and it was not like that", I didn't want to argue anymore.
I brought my car to this shop because the neck was leaking gas and it need to be replaced , I agreed with the price but then they called and said that I needed a new gas tank, they quoted me at 324 for the tank alone and 2 hours labor, In the end they wanted to charge me 654 for everything done and that was with there 11 percent discount.
Reasonable prices, and they tend to be honest and not treat you like an idiot like most mechanics. I have had exhaust work done on multiple cars here, and they always do a good job.
He then told me because the mechanic told him to charge me that price.
In the end we all agreed to a price of 354. 4 days later I went to pick up my car and the mechanic that I had initially made the deal with looked mad but I phased that out, as I went to pay what was agreed upon instead of hearing 354, the teller charged me 445 and I asked why?
I am just disappointed because I trusted yall with the well being of my car. I also never expected surprise upcharges without my consent.
